Sometimes when I am creating a painting I can just feel myself coming alive. This was one of those paintings for me. I tried some new techniques which worked so beautifully and felt so right. I love the flow and subtlety of line and gradation of colors in this painting. As I’ve been starring at this finished painting over the last couple months I been captivated by the way light interacts with it.

Details—
This mixed media painting is 36 x 24 inches on a hand stretched gallery wrapped raw canvas. It was created with acrylic paint, and color pencil then finished with a varnish to protect it from the elements.
*This painting comes unframed.
