This mixed media painting began in total experimentation and became pivotal in my process as it spurred on ideas for future work. I remember beginning without any regard for the end result. I impulsively began pouring paint onto the canvas and smearing it around. It was a freeing and learned from this painting.

This mixed media painting is 24x 24 inches is a gallery wrapped raw canvas which was stretched by hand. It was created with acrylic paint, and color pencil then finished with a varnish to protect it from the elements.
